About

Syeda Farheen Ali
My passion for women’s health stems from my own journey. Between the ages of 31 and 33, I battled profound fatigue, which I attributed to residency training and caring for two young children. Despite exhaustive testing—including ACTH stimulation—and normal lab results, my symptoms persisted. Joint pain that began in pregnancy progressed to my knees, ankles, shoulders, and hands. Stress incontinence, brain fog, irritability, unexplained weight gain, and mood swings disrupted my life and strained my relationships. When hot flashes finally hit, I was offered HRT for over $300, which I couldn’t justify. Instead, I endured—until my LDL skyrocketed to 184, prompting me to investigate further. What I discovered changed everything: I was experiencing estrogen deficiency. Starting HRT was life-changing. Within months, my joint pain, incontinence, brain fog, and mood instability resolved. I even lost the weight I had gained. The most shocking realization? Even as a physician, I had failed to recognize my own perimenopausal symptoms. This experience ignited my mission: to ensure no woman suffers in silence as I once did. I now dedicate my practice to menopause care, recognizing the faces of estrogen deficiency—women masking their suffering behind a forced smile. No one should have to endure what I did, and I am here to help them reclaim their health.
