I am a PA with 20 years of experience in family practice and internal medicine; a health coach; a weight loss specialist and a menopause society certified practitioner. I did my medical training in the early 2000s, when the complaints of women in midlife were routinely dismissed and hormone therapy was rarely offered. I am proud to be part of the current movement that tells women that they aren't alone; their feelings are valid and their symptoms are real; and we have treatments that should be readily to available to all who want them. I have experienced the symptoms of perimenopause myself, and I work in this space because I know what women are going through - and I know how to get them to the other side.
