As a Midwife and Nurse Practitioner, I have been involved in sexual and reproductive health care for over 35 years. The fundamental philosophy of my practice has always been, informed consent and shared decision making. I have been involved with wellness and health throughout the lifespan and have seen so many correlations between the birthing experience, and all the transitions of aging and the menstrual life cycle. In the last 10 years my clinical practice focus has increasingly become pelvic and sexual health, and midlife care. Working with individuals as they transition through menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause to be the healthiest they can be, to celebrate and honor the transitions of life, and offer care that is informed, respectful, and knowledgeable.
