Stacy Blecher M.D.

Dr. Stacy Blecher is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a decade of experience at one of Charleston’s major hospitals, where she cared for some of the sickest and most vulnerable patients in the state. During her time on the front lines of inpatient medicine, she noticed a consistent and troubling pattern: many of her patients were living with obesity and multiple chronic conditions—all deeply rooted in poor metabolic health. Yet, despite the clear connection, few were receiving targeted care to address these foundational issues. She also saw a growing number of women in their 60s and 70s struggling not only with weight challenges but also with osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, recurrent UTIs and preventable injuries like hip fractures. These experiences sparked a passion in Dr. Blecher to intervene earlier, focus on prevention, and empower her patients with the tools to live longer, healthier and more vibrant lives. Now, through MALI, the Metabolism & Longevity Institute, Dr. Blecher is excited to devote her energy to what she cares about most: helping people reclaim their health, improve their quality of life, and thrive at every stage. Her approach blends medical expertise with compassionate, personalized care focused on long-term wellness and longevity. When she’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Blecher enjoys spending time outdoors with her two young daughters, ages 6 and 2, and exploring Charleston’s vibrant boutique fitness scene.
