About

Stacy Banks, MD, MSCP
Stacy Banks, MD is a Stanford-trained, board-certified Integrative Psychiatrist who works with patients in-person in her office in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland, CA and virtually throughout California. (Licensed to treat patients throughout the state of California.) In her practice, Dr. Banks works with many women in mid-life who are going through hormonal transitions and related mood changes, such as perimenopause, menopause, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), or mood changes tied to menstrual cycles. Some of these women reach out to Dr. Banks because of her focus on women’s mental health issues in mid-life, while others contact Dr. Banks for another concern, such as ADHD or insomnia, and find it valuable that she’s able to think about what role hormones may be playing in exacerbating or causing their symptoms. Dr. Banks believes in creating a safe, compassionate space where patients feel heard and understood. She doesn’t dismiss symptoms, especially when the picture is complex or falls outside neat diagnostic categories. She welcome curiosity and partners with her patients to navigate uncertainty. Above all, Dr. Banks’ goal is to help her patients feel supported, informed, and empowered to lead full and fulfilling lives.
