About

Michelle Mullins
Michelle Mullins, AGACNP-BC, FNP-BC, is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner and founder of Areté Women's Integrative Medicine, a telehealth practice serving women across Colorado. Her approach combines the diagnostic rigor of conventional medicine with the root-cause investigation of functional medicine, using both to look at the whole picture behind a woman's symptoms rather than treating them in isolation. She specializes in perimenopause, menopause, and hormone replacement therapy. Michelle spent the first decade of her career in conventional acute care, critical care, flight nursing through Colorado's mountain corridors, hospitalist medicine at an academic medical center, and rural primary and urgent care. She holds her Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Maryville University, and completed an Advanced Practice Fellowship in Hospitalist Medicine at the University of Colorado Hospital. She later trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine and The Menopause Society, and has studied women's physiology, metabolic health, and hormone function with leaders including Stacy Sims and Heather Hirsch. Michelle lives near Ridgway, Colorado, and sees patients in person and across the state of Colorado via telehealth.
