About

Lissa Bernstein-Lawler MD

Lissa Bernstein-Lawler, MD MSCP is a dedicated Family Physician and Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP) with a special passion for guiding women through life’s hormonal transitions. She finds deep fulfillment in helping her patients feel informed, empowered, and confident in their health choices. Dr. Bernstein-Lawler strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where women can openly share their experiences and explore personalized treatment options. Her approach emphasizes attentive listening and validation, recognizing that every woman’s hormonal journey is unique. With a commitment to evidence-based, individualized care, she helps her patients navigate these changes with clarity and confidence. Together with three lifelong friends, Dr. Bernstein-Lawler co-founded Female Focused, a telehealth company born from candid conversations about their own experiences with perimenopause. They built what they wished had existed for themselves back when they were going through perimenopause: a telehealth practice where women’s experiences are believed, understood, and expertly treated.
