As a board certified OB/GYN for the past 23 years who has been practicing gynecology only for the past 15 years, I have seen the challenges women face during the menopause transition and how traditional healthcare has failed to meet their needs. This has caused women to turn to other options which are often expensive and frankly at times harmful. Through increased awareness and education, my goal is to empower women, so they receive the high quality, evidence-based menopause care they deserve.
