Despite being a PA for over 15 years in Emergency Medicine, I didn't realize that finding someone who could help patients navigate perimenopause and menopause in Chicago would be so hard. It became a passion of mine to learn as much as possible about how to best provide evidence based menopause-focused healthcare and I am excited to share my knowledge with patents during their menopause transitional years. I strongly believe it is important to empower patients with options and through shared decision making, provide them with the meds and tools to help them feel their best and get the most satisfaction out of life. I also have a special interest and desire to help make HRT available to breast cancer survivors who are good candidates for it and who are interested in exploring the pros and cons after their breast cancer treatment is completed.
