Dr Heather Hammerstedt is an emergency medicine physician with a specialized certifications in lifestyle medicine (ABLM) and menopause hormone therapy (MSCP), as well as additional certifications and trainings in integrative nutrition, health coaching, medical acupuncture, Ayurveda, public and global health. She has 25 years of medical expertise and 21 years of health coaching experience, having gone to get her integrative nutrition health coaching certificate during medical school (way back ) when she realized the HUGE hole in our medical education around food and mindfulness and exercise and woman-centered care. At this point, she’s put in 1000s of hours of deep diving into nutrition and weight science, health behavior mindset, and midlife menopause care to put together lifestyle transformation blueprints to get women to longterm health and lifelong SKILLS for sustainable health futures. Her days are spent in Idaho skiing and rafting and playing outside with her two little crazy boys, a furry chocolate dog child, a very entertaining husband.
