A nurse practitioner with over twenty years in healthcare, Crystal brings an understanding shaped by years of working alongside patients during their most challenging moments. Her path to this specialty wasn't planned - it grew naturally from her experience in palliative medicine, where she learned the fundamental importance of giving patients clear information and meaningful choices about their care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, while working with critically ill patients, Crystal experienced unexpected perimenopause symptoms herself. Like many women, she discovered how little she actually knew about this stage of life. This personal experience, combined with her medical background, led her to investigate the science of menopause care more deeply. What she found was eye-opening: there was a significant gap between current research and common understanding about menopause treatment options. This realization inspired her to co-found The Menopause Clinic, where she focuses on making evidence-based menopause care accessible through hybrid care (telehealth and in-person visits). Today, Crystal works with women to help them understand their options during perimenopause and menopause. Her approach centers on sharing evidence-based information and helping each woman make informed decisions about her own care. She continues to learn from her patients while supporting them through this important life transition.
