With over 27 years of experience in healthcare, I have a passion for education and wellness. My perimenopause journey began before I could describe what I was experiencing. At that time, I was fortunate to have an OB/GYN who listened to me and my healthcare needs. I was placed on a combination of hormone pills that worked well for my body. That support gave me the clarity to understand what was happening physiologically and to be intentional about how I wanted to age. It is incredibly powerful when a woman is heard, informed, and supported in her healthcare decisions. In 2024, I visited with a different gynecologist, and was questioned about my treatment plan and why I would want to take hormones unless I had significant menopause symptoms. The skepticism I encountered was disappointing, but it was a turning point. I am committed and continue to fulfill my insatiable need for education and need to empower women on the changes their bodies are going through during their menopause journey. My mission is to create a space where women feel heard, respected, and confident in the choices about their health and how they age.
