Hello! I’m Dr. Tapp ND and I’m so glad you’re here. Leading the charge in integrative cancer care in Peterborough, I am an Ontario licensed ND and active member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP). Although my focus is supporting my patients through and beyond their cancer journeys, I do know first-hand how overwhelming that journey can be. While I was in naturopathic medical school, I watched as an aunt on my mother’s side passed from breast cancer, followed shortly by an aunt on my father’s side being diagnosed as well. Despite how scary a diagnosis of cancer can be, I believe it can also be a beautiful opportunity. It’s an opportunity to make positive changes in food choices, habits, relationships, mindset, and in how we care for ourselves. I take a collaborative approach to cancer care—working together with your oncologist or family physician to develop a comprehensive plan that will reduce side effects and optimize outcomes.
