About

Betyshia Belardo, MD, DABFM, DABOM, MSCP
Dr. Betyshia Belardo is a board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, dedicated to optimizing the health and well-being of women. A Southern California native, she pursued her undergraduate studies in Psychology at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), before attending Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA for her medical degree. She completed her Family Medicine residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and later established a practice in Family Medicine focused on women's health and lifestyle focused preventative care. Dr. Belardo combines her expertise in women’s health, perimenopause and menopause care, and obesity medicine to provide comprehensive care for women in midlife. As Founder and CEO of CaliberMD, a private telemedicine practice for women, she helps women navigate hormone changes, improve metabolic health, and achieve sustainable weight loss through personalized, evidence-based care. Her approach looks at the whole picture, including body composition, nutrition, movement, sleep, and metabolic risk factors such as insulin resistance, prediabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol changes. With over a decade of clinical experience, she is committed to helping women feel better now while supporting their long-term health and reducing the risk of chronic disease. When not practicing medicine, she finds joy in being a mother, spending time with her family, going to the movies and traveling. Dr. Belardo also finds fulfillment in staying active with outdoor runs, exploring the arts, immersing herself in a great book and attending concerts or shows.
