Autumn Elms completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma. She completed her residency in OBGYN at Orlando Health and maintains board certification with ACOG. After several years in practice, she realized her knowledge gap in caring for women. She attended a medical conference for sexual medicine in which menopause was a central discussion. Lightbulb moment. Her favorite quote is "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." --Maya Angelou. She began learning everything she could about menopause, becoming certified by the Menopause Society. She believes to fully care for women, we need to address all aspects of health, including physical, mental, and sexual. The menopause transition is a pivotal time in women's lives that stresses all aspects of health. But with proper guidance and support, this transition is not one to just survive, but to thrive!
